HK BBQ MASTER IS MY REASON FOR EXISTENCE I AM NOTHING WITHOUT HK BBQ MASTER AHHHHHH my expectations coming were THROUGH the roof and i was so expecting to be let down but OH MY GOD somehow my expectations were EXCEEDED this is the best restaurant in canada istg and it’s almost very nearly one of the best in the world im convinced. i tried all four meats, the bbq pork, the bbq duck, the roasted pork, and the soya chicken and they were honestly all so DELECTABLE that i can’t even pick a favourite. i requested the fatty bbq pork and they definitely delivered — it was tender, so flavourful and had such a nice sweet flavour that wasn’t sickening. the roasted pork was super delicious as well, with the skin SUPER crispy and the fat SUPER fatty, and was also quite salty. honestly, even though this is the one i was looking forward to eating the most, i’d say that this is the one i’d leave out just because it didn’t taste as “cohesive” as the other meats. the soya chicken was SO juicy and not at all dry, the scallion oil on top was actually a perfect complement and it made it taste so good. the bbq duck i WAS NOT EXPECTING to be so good but omg seriously jawdropping, i feel like im just using the same descriptors but seriously those bites with the pieces of fat and skin and greasiness and mingled together, eaten with the rice was actually heaven on earth. my favourite part was ordering another bowl of rice which came PIPING hot and enjoying all the meat like that. seriously the most sensational experience. i feel like with chinese bbq, it’s very easy to get dry meat especially with the duck and chicken and charshiu, but somehow every single bite of meat was so moist and juicy and soft and flavourful, not an ounce of dryness in the entire meal. the ladies there were also super nice and friendly, and the portions were huge — there was so much meat on my plate. IN CONCLUSION (because hk bbq master deserves a conclusion) if i lived near richmond i swear i’d be here everyday, and im definitely coming back because this has been one of the highlights of my entire life.

I saw a lot of good reviews here, and I am curious to try their duck. I’m wondering if it’s close to HK’s duck! What we ordered: Crispy Roasted Pork—this one is my fave; it is crispy, and it has a good flavor too. I paired it with soy sauce (I don’t know if it's the right thing to do), but it works well for me. Roasted Duck - It’s good, but they served us a bit cold. I wanted it a bit warm. Not close to the one I tried in Hong Kong, but it has a decent taste, a bit of a gamy taste, probably because it’s not warm. They gave us a sauce too; it's a good combo. Overall: It’s a good experience, still worth the visit!

This place is so good!!! It is always so busy but the line moves really quickly for dine in. Their line for take out is even longer but it also moves very fast. Both the bbq duck and pork are so yummy and affordable. A combo with rice, meat and broccoli is around 15. The soup of the day is also delicious and I think it’s most of the time boiled from duck bones, as they have different soups everyday. Their milk tea is really sweet but their ice tea is good. Also be aware that this is cash only!

One of the best Chinese BBQ places I’ve been to. Definitely recommend while you’re in Vancouver. Great atmosphere (hustle and bustle). Not too far from Aberdeen station. Note. cash only if you’re dining in.

Always a line. Got here before opening. Wrote my name on the list and got on line. Was seated at the first round. We love the fatty tender roast pork and crispy pig. They do it the best in Vancouver! Also don’t forget the daily soup! So good.

Service is super quick, and no fuss. Food’s great. Good portion for the price. I really liked the crunch of the roasted pork’s skin and being able to choose fatty or lean for the bbq pork. Sometimes I wish there was more than one piece of broccoli to delude myself I’m eating healthy but it’s all good.

Incredible HK style bbq meats. We tried the BBQ pork, roast pork, roast duck, soy chicken. As a lover of BBQ pork. This was definitely top 3 all time for me. Incredibly juicy and flavorful with the right mix of fat. The roast pork skin was very crispy and you could taste the spices which is often times forgotten at other joints. The chicken and duck were moist but overall standard. I think the duck was a tad oily but nothing to complain about. The ginger scallion sauce was a delight The milk tea, rice, vegetables were also good. This is a hole in the wall Chinese place so the raucous noise, service, etc was par and met expectations.

BBQ Pork any style is absolutely phenomenal ( _ゝ)"勁好味" staff moves at lightning speed, all very nice and attentive. Didn't feel rushed. HK milk tea is super yummy. The place is so fun and highly recommended
